“The heart of SHIATSU is like a mother’s love.

Shiatsu (sometimes called acupressure) means finger pressure in Japanese. It is a therapeutic and

painless Japanese Massage that has a profoundly relaxing and invigorating effect.

It also alleviates pain, helps improve and maintain good health and it helps in numerous acute and chronic

  conditions.

Treatments usually last for one hour. Because Shiatsu is based on pressure, there is no need for

cream or oil, so the patient usually wears loose, comfortable clothing.

Based on both Traditional Chinese Medicine principles and Western Physiology research,  Shiatsu Massage

may be beneficial in the treatment of:

 - backache

 - neck and shoulder stiffness

 - sciatica pain

 - insomnia

 - muscular tension

 - repetitive strain injury (RSI)

 - headaches

 - sprained ankles

 - menstrual dysfunction

 - enuresis (bedwetting)

 - digestive disorders

 - arthritis

 - diabetes

 - low resistance to infections
